So... I kinda doubt anyone really noticed that I haven't been posting much. Here's the reason: I don't really like going outside and walking when it's cold. I'm back in Saint Paul, and there's a couple feet of snow down, so it can be hard to walk along railroads without getting majorly cold feet. I feel witty now.
Anyways, updates and wanderings will resume upon my return to Vancouver.

Obligatory Mission Statement
The wonderful thing about railroads is that they go on forever. You can walk along one for hours and hours and hours and still not have gone anywhere, you'll be right where you started, since there's still an exquisite eternity behind you and endless distance before. There might be grass growing between the tracks, there might be a sort of hidden mystery to the way they spring up between buildings and behind places no one sees. But they're there, waiting, longing for past times to return.
